A safari in Tanzania BY ENEKO

Pauline and Matilda are on a safari in the Savannah in Tanzania

They are talking about their incredible trip.

We went on safari in a jeep. We slept in big tents. At night, the animal are very very noisy!!!

The African Savannah is beautiful. In the Ngorongoro crater there is lake called Magadi.

There are about 250,000 large animals in the area including black rhinos, hippos, lions, zebras, and gazelles.

We visited the Serengeti National park. Fauna and climate in Serengeti are practically the same has vegetation they were a million years ago.

We saw different animals. The baboons are really funny. They like to play football with coconuts.

This is Maasai village in the Serengeti National park. The houses in the village are usually built by Maasai women. The Maasai are an ethnic group which lives in Tanzania and Kenya. There are 900,000 Maasai in Africa.
