French apple tart by Eunate
Ingredients:
175g. plain flour.
3 eating apples.
85g. butter.
2 tablespoons apricot jam.
30g. caster sugar.
2 tablespoons hot water.
1 egg yolk, beaten.
20cm flan fish.
1-2 tablespoons cold water.
450g. cooking apples.
55g. caster sugar.
Oven temperature 200º
1.Sift the flour in one bowl. Cut the butter and add them to the flour.
2.Rub the butter into the flour. Mix the breadcrumb, with your fingers. Add 30g. caster sugar.
3.Mix in the beaten egg yolk, and enough water to make a ball. Put it into a refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4.Next, peel the cooking apples, cut them into quarters and next cut the cores.
5.Put the apples in cold water and sugar, into a saucepan. Cook them over a low heat until the apple is soft.
6.Sprinkle some flour onto a board and onto a rolling pin.
7.Line the flan dish with the pastry. Bake it for ten minutes.
8.Put the apples in the pastry case.
9.Finally, mix the jam with the hot water, and bake the tart for 30 minutes.
